Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford star in one of the most anticipated movies of the year, “Blade Runner 2049.” However, it bombed at the box office this weekend but I am sure we will be talking about this film all year and in the years to come.

“Blade Runner 2049” is the sequel to the 1980’s cult science fiction classic. I will that this film bombed with the audience,  but it did not bomb with me. I happened to think this film was visually stunning, captivating, beautiful to look at such as cinematography and also one of the most memorable films of the year.

Whether you loved it, liked it, or hated it, I am sure you will NOT STOP thinking about this spellbinding thrill ride.

Ryan Gosling is one of the finest actors in the industry right now plays Officer K,  a new blade runner for the Los Angeles Police Department and he is quite good at his job. While solving an insolvable case, K unlocks a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into major chaos for the future.

His discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, played by Harrison Ford, who happens to be a former blade runner who’s gone missing for 30 years. Once they meet, all hell breaks loose.

I will say, this movie did drag a little bit but  “Blade Runner 2049″is an exceptional film and it really brings the Science Fiction Genre to the next level. Ryan Gosling gives one of the best performances of his career I hope to see him nominated for Best Actor This Year.

I am sure we will be seeing “Blade Runner 2049″as a major contender for the Oscars, and I think it is one of the most memorable films I have seen in recent years.

Coming from the man who was not a fan of the first film from the 1980’s, this sequel to the Sci-Fi Cult Classic reinvents the genre of Science Fiction.

Gosling and Ford make a terrific team in this film and also get the job done. However, Jared Leto is the main villain in this movie but why is Leto only in the movie for at least two to three scenes? He’s one of our main villains and I wish he had more screen time and more of a background story.

In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful looking science fiction films of 2017 and it’s also worth seeing on the biggest screen possible.

It may not be the Science Fiction movie we need right now, but it’s the one we deserve. Go see this film. Do not listen to the people who made this movie bomb. It’s good, it’s fascinating, and way better than the first movie. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4/5
