This week, one of the movies l have been waiting for all year and basically since my childhood came out in theaters- “Justice League.”
Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, The Flash are finally here with a few surprises in the highly anticipated “Justice League.” I liked most DC movies other than “Suicide Squad,” and “Wonder Woman” is still my favorite DC movie.
So, will “Justice League” FINALLY be the movie to bring DC back on its track? I will say that there are some pros and cons with this movie.
“Justice League” happens immediately after the events of “Batman v. Superman” which concluded in the death of Superman. Ever since then, Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne and Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman seek out to recruit Arthur Curry aka Aquaman, Victor Stone aka Cyborg, and Barry Allen, “The Flash,” to help them stop an ancient evil from destroying the world.
In addition to that also form the Justice League. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes, it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
I will say that I had a lot of fun with this movie, however, this was not the movie I have been waiting since I was 5 years old but still I am happy I finally got a Justice League movie.
I think Ben Affleck is a decent Batman but the two people that really steal this movie are Gal Gadot who is flawless as Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.
I am really excited to check out the Aquaman solo movie next Christmas. I also wished that we met these characters a little sooner and the release of Justice League felt a little rushed. Still, I always love a good Comic Book movie and I am sure this is going to make a lot of money this weekend.
Make sure you stay after the credits for two post-credit scenes. Call me a sucker but I’d give “Justice League” 4 out of 5 stars.
