Audrey’s Corner was created in honor of junior Audrey Niblo, a Spectrum staff writer, who passed away from an illness in 2018. In living a life of kindness, positivity and love of animals, Audrey chose to follow a path of joy, even as she was open about the many struggles young people face, including bullying. In articles, creative writing and photography, Spectrum continues to promote the messages of Audrey’s life for all students. This year, Audrey’s Corner content will appear periodically throughout Spectrum’s editions, representing the themes that connect its messages to campus life, news, sports, features, and arts and entertainment.
