On Nov. 1, Apple will launch its first all-original subscription service, “Apple TV+.”

It will broadcast numerous original shows, movies, documentaries, including the highly anticipated “Morning Show,” starring Steve Carrell, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.

“I saw the trailer for the show a few days ago, actually. It looks really interesting and I love those two actresses, so I definitely will watch at least the first episode,” said senior Annie Moran.

This marks Aniston’s first television appearance since the show, “Friends” aired from 1994-2004 on NBC. Witherspoon also had various guest appearances on the television show, starring as Aniston’s sister.

Many students are excited for the “Friends” reunion of Aniston and Witherspoon, who played the Green sisters throughout its run.

“I absolutely loved Rachel and her sister, Jill, on ‘Friends,’” said senior Mary Magliozzi. They had such a funny relationship whenever they had episodes together, so I am really excited about the new show they will be in.”

Witherspoon recently starred in HBO’s “Big Little Lies,” as well as “The Mindy Project.” She will serve as an executive producer for the newly released series along with Carrell and Aniston.

According to Apple’s Newsroom, “The Morning Show” will be exploring “the world of morning news and the ego, ambition, and misguided search for power behind the people who help America wake up in the morning.”

The series will dive deep into the behind-the-scenes of network television, particularly having a focus on female’s role in the media industry.

It will also feature “The Office” star Steve Carrell, who is making his return to television for the first time since the series finale aired in 2013.

“I will be very interested to see the role that Steve Carrell plays in this new show, because I love him in everything he is in,” said freshman Cristiana Santos.

According to the Associated Press, “Aniston will star as Alex, the long-reigning queen of the now-slumping ‘Morning Show,’ and Witherspoon plays Bradley, an outspoken TV reporter with a shaky job history who lands hard on Alex’s turf.” Carrell will star as Alex’s co-anchor, Mitch.

Editor-in-Chief Bryana Cielo, who attended The Morning Show World Premiere on Monday, was a fan of the first two episodes.

“It blew me away like I knew it would,” she said. “The acting was phenomenal, the writing was brilliant, and the storyline left me wanting more. It’s an all-too-real look into the world of journalism.”

Despite the fan-favorite cast members, some students will not be watching the new program, as they do not want to purchase another streaming service.

“I already pay for Netflix and Hulu, so I really don’t want to pay for another service because it would be too much money. Unless I watch the new show with someone who already has Apple TV +, I will not watch it,” said senior Emily Miller.

Other students are excited for the new streaming platform.

“I am looking forward to all the new shows that Apple TV+ has, plus I don’t think it is too expensive, so I will definitely try it for at least a month so I can watch all the new movies and shows on it,” said senior Justin Weigel.

According to Apple’s Newsroom, other shows being released on the platform include: “See,” staring Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard, “Dickinson,” a dark-comedic coming-of-age story, “For All Mankind,” “Helpsters,” “Snoopy in Space,” and the documentary “The Elephant Queen.”

“I think that the streaming service will have many great shows and films that will be hard to resist watching so eventually I will probably subscribe and watch it,” said Moran.

Apple TV+ will be available on the Apple TV app staring Nov. 1 on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac and other platforms, and online at tv.apple.com,
